just as a matter of curiosity i was wondering if any of you know of anybody who has read raymond franz' 'crisis of conscience' and who actually remained a jw?

i have sent and lent this book to a number of people within the wts, even a co, all of whom left eventually.

one person remained due to domestic issues, but resigned from all his duties and remains as such.

hi folks, i have heard the latest news that in germany it is no more announced on the platform, when someone is disfellowshipped.. this fact in future will only be given privately to the brothers.. has anybody heard that too?

is that a typical german way because the seltersbrothers demand the status of a church to save taxes and get public subvention.. since 1990 they are keen to get this privlege but at present time they stay where they begun.. i remember when i studied with the witnesses some decades ago that an elder mentioned: we never would become church.

very intresting, sounds realistick when it comes to that we must be a church to be taxfree, I now that this is one of the important things in courts in France and Russia, even in our year book some time ago it was told this.

I will check this widh my german elder friend when he comes here in july, he have a brother in selters so we will now.

this is an intresting issu.

I think you are wrong here.

I can give you an exampel even if it is unusal.

I now a woman as was maried to en CO, she was pionjering, he was also a good painting artist.

When he died she take hes money and go to the bank and give it to them and say can you inest this money, and this was in the middel of 1980 ies.

She forget this and after around 15 year she go the the bank and say she want the money, and it was millions, this woman was at the time the one as have been piojering longest in sweden, over 50 year, she was wery devoted, and saw this investment as a blessing.

She died 2001 and all her money, where did they go, well guess.

I can also tell you the our kingdom hall ,peopel outside say tih s is the rich hall, in swedish the name of kingdom hall is Rikets sal and the word fore ´whelthy man is rik, and ofcourse in Sweden most JW have good ekonomy, even if not millioners.

i can take one exampel.. we all now about the polyci to convickt sexabuser ot pedofiles,you must have two wittneses to what happend if not we must putt it i n jehovas hand,.

but if you sleep over together before you are married, you dont need any wittneses att al to be dfd or reeprofed, even if it is a third person ther it is an dfd thing says the elder book.enen if it is an third person ther.. why it is so important widh two wittneses to judge sexabuser, but when it comes to peopel as doing nothing only sleep over in the same department it need no wittneses att al to bad things happend to dfd them.. so you can be harder judged if you only sleep in a bed than if you rape chilrden, or sex abuse them in any way,this is not so unusal, i have among my family peopel as have been judged fore this minor thing, sleeping over widhuot doing anything, the punishment was totaly reeprof.. i have also exampel from elder as have use girls under 15 fore porniea, and the punishment was only steep down as an elder.. some very hard things to deal widh fore mee and some alse as now this.. i can also ask one more qestion, wt have told us to tell evrythnig bad we do at once, but if we hide it fore a long time, how will it effeckt the puishment?.

i dont now why but I have sen this things before my eyes, just now. Widhuot to go in details,one of my children haveto talr epprof, for sleeping over, and it was a third person ther, but it dont madher.
compare this to our high elder as just was taken fore having an affair widh unother mans wife fore several years, and when I talk to the betrade man , and told hem i have some newlege about this, he go to our elder and ask him and after a he confess, and the punishment was only reproof.

So you can destroy a family and we must forgiv this, but if some sleep over and do nothing it is the same punishment.
This is a terribel misstake as must be nowend , how comes that we can judged peopel as do nothing , at the same time free peoel as have done terribel things as pedofile.

But if so ,arent we rewarded fore hiding it, let me take an exampel an elder have an affair widh a girl as is under 15, and he hide it fore a long time, but someone saw this and tell it after this long time, what happend then?

Wasnt this one as saw this a wicktim, and wasnt the elder hiding a very bigg crime, how can the elder hold specahes, and procide like a high man all this years.Are not the bibel telling us, if we are judges and do the same siin our self as the man we judge, we have no mercy, this have JW forgett
